Abstract The Journal of Comparative Family Studies ( JCFS ) is a peer‐reviewed academic journal devoted to social scientific research on the family. More particularly, the journal focuses on cross‐cultural comparisons of family form and processes. It publishes four issues per year and is the only academic journal specifically dedicated to the comparative study of the family.
