Abstract
Abstract Minimum spouting velocity was measured in a 0.12 m cylindrical spout‐fluid bed with a draft tube. The effects of fluidizing gas flow rate, entrainment height, and spout nozzle diameter on minimum spouting velocity were discussed. A correlation on minimum spouting velocity has been proposed based on the present experimental data.
