Abstract
Novel hyperbranched 2D gearlike single-crystal silver nanocrystals and their self-organized 3D structures have been successfully prepared in aqueous solution at room temperature. An interesting shape evolution from hyperbranched nanocrystals to quasi-spherical or disklike nanocrystals was observed.
