Synthesis of Ultrathin Silicon Nanosheets by Using Graphene Oxide as Template

Abstract
A facile method was developed to synthesize free-standing Si nanosheets by using graphene oxide as a template. The resulting Si nanosheets were well-crystallized and showed high and stable Li ion storage performance compared with Si nanoparticles because of the dimensional feature.
