Abstract
The growth of single crystal particles of SBA-15 is explained. The morphology and size of the particles are highly dependent on synthesis temperature. The formation at certain temperatures proceeds via an oriented aggregation mechanism of primary particles into secondary (final) particles. Platelike SBA-15 particles with a uniform size are obtained.
