Abstract
A highly efficient nickel-catalyzed asymmetric reductive coupling of dienes and aldehydes has been realized by using bulky spirobiindane phosphoramidite ligands, affording bishomoallylic alcohols in high yields with excellent diastereoselectivities and enantioselectivities.
