Abstract
A synthetic procedure leading to derivatives of tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) incorporating crown ether ligands has been developed. The properties of such redox-active ionophores were studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV), plasma desorption mass spectrometry (PDMS), and 1H-NMR.
