Abstract
In combined use with CF3CO2H, 2-[bis(3,5-bis-trifluoromethylphenyl) triethylsiloxymethyl]pyrrolidine was found to be an effective organocatalyst of an exo-selective, enantioselective Diels-Alder reaction of alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes.
