Abstract
This communication reports the free radical incorporation of a titanium(IV) complex containing polymerizable aryloxide ligands into a rigid and porous polystyrene/divinylbenzene-based matrix. This yields a yellow-orange insoluble polymer that can be converted into a dark red polymer with SiCl4; the latter polymer is a good catalyst for the Diels−Alder reaction.
