Deuterium-induced hydrogen bond strengthening: a novel strategy for high stability in hybrid perovskites

Abstract

Our work shows that deuterating the MA + cation in MAPbBr 3 strengthens N–D⋯Br hydrogen bonds. This molecular reinforcement boosts thermal stability and significantly improves resistance to moisture/oxygen degradation.
