Abstract
A spectral sensitivity is estimated of an electron-multiplying CCD (EMCCD) camera which is able to acquire a colour image under low-light-level conditions. The spectral sensitivity estimation of the EMCCD has never been performed for the EMCCD camera characterisation. In this reported work, to estimate spectral sensitivity, various methods are applied to the EMCCD camera, including regularised least-squares regression and regularisation with Fourier smoothing. Reconstructed results for estimated spectral sensitivity demonstrate performances of 0.0379 and 2.5576 in normalised RMSE and CIELAB colour difference, respectively.
