One Component Non-Necrotic Tumor. Stationary State and Linear Stability Analysis
AIP conference proceedings2010pp. 439–444
Abstract
A simple model for a vascularized non‐necrotic tumor is developed, combining the ideas presented by Byrne and Chaplain several years ago [6], [7]. The steady state solution is found in the case of spherical symmetry and in the presence of an inhibitor. For an inhibitor free model the linear stability of the steady state is discussed and a general formula for the increment of the l‐harmonic is obtained.
