Abstract
We present the results of a preliminary determination of sin2 θW from a study of νFe scattering in the Lab E detector at Fermilab. The analysis is based on a sample of 5×105 events with a mean neutrino energy of 166 GeV. Our result, sin2 θW=0.2242±0.0044expt.±0.0047model, is the highest energy high statistics determination of the weak mixing angle using neutrino data.
