Abstract
A new species-group, the Protohermes davidi species-group, of the dobsonfly genus Protohermes van der Weele is recognised. Five species belonging to the P. davidi species-group from China are described and illustrated, including one new species. The cladistic analysis infers that this species-group appears monophyletic and is divided into two subgroups. The distribution pattern of this species-group is presented, and its biogeography is also discussed.
