Abstract
The color-magnitude diagram for the 0- and B-type stars has been derived from three-color photoelectric photometry with the 82- and 36-inch McDonald telescopes. The observations cover stars down to about 12.5 photographic magnitude, selected from classifications of objective-prism spectra by L. Mbnch at Tonantzintla and by Brodskaja at the Crimean Observatory. For part of the stars, spectral types in the MK system have been determined by W. V. Morgan from plates taken at the McDonald Observatory. Members of the association and field stars are segregated on the basis of the position in the color-magnitude diagram, the interstellar absorption, and the distribution on the sky. The colormagnitude diagram shows the main sequence down to about visual absolute magnitude zero. The distance of the association is about 725 pc and its dimensions are about 50 X 30 pc.
