Jaffe, W. J. Abstract We try to account for the electrons responsible for the halo radio source in the Coma cluster with a model involving the leakage of electrons out of radio galaxies. With a reasonable choice of the cluster magnetic field, the model can explain the number of electrons present, but has difficulty explaining their distribution in the cluster.
