D. Abstract A NaI(T1) scintillation detector was carried by a balloon to an atmospheric depth of 3.2 g/cm2 on April 29, 1967, from Chico, California. The X-ray spectrum between 23 and 80 keV was obtained for Cyg XR-1. It can be fitted by a synchrotron spectrum with an index of a = -0.5 and an integrated intensity of 2.4 X 10-8 ergs cm2 sec'. This agrees with previous measurements and indicates that Cyg XR-1 has probably not experienced a measurable change in intensity during the past 2 years Publication: The Astrophysical Journal Pub Date: January 1968 DOI: 10.1086/180127 Bibcode: 1968ApJ...151L...1C full text sources ADS | data products SIMBAD (4)
