Abstract
An anomalous component of the radio continuum emission is found in a number of edge-on spiral galaxies. The component is elongated along a line crossing the nucleus and is nearly perpendicular to the plane of the galaxy. It is probably related to the galaxy nuclei, which show several Seyfert-like properties.
