Low socio-economic status is associated with increased risk of frequent headache: a prospective study of 22 718 adults in Norway
2003pp. 391–394
Abstract
Abstract Conflicting results exist regarding the relationship between headache and socioeconomic status (SES). In the USA, headache and migraine were more frequent among groups with low income and low education (for example, refs 1–3), but such an inverse relationship between headache and SES has not been reported in studies outside the USA.
