Abstract
The cross sections for $\ensuremath{\Lambda}\ensuremath{-}p$ elastic scattering with $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ momenta in the interval $110\ensuremath{-}330 \frac{\mathrm{MeV}}{c}$ have been measured. Our results are based on 224 scattering events found in a sample of 95 600 $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ hypersons observed in an exposure of the 81-cm Saclay hydrogen bubble chamber to a stopping ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ beam. These cross sections are analyzed in terms of effective-range theory. A wide spectrum of solutions in this formalism give acceptable agreement with the data.
