Observation of ψ(3686)→Ξ(1530)0Ξ¯(1530)0 and Ξ(1530)0Ξ¯0

Abstract
Using $(448.1\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.9)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector and a single-baryon tagging technique, we present the first observation of the decays $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{0}\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}(1530{)}^{0}$ and $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{0}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}}^{0}$. The branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{0}\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}(1530{)}^{0})=(6.77\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.14\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.39)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ and $\mathcal{B}(\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{0}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}}^{0})=(0.53\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.04\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.03)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$. Here, the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. In addition, the parameter associated with the angular distribution for the decay $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{0}\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}(1530{)}^{0}$ is determined to be $\ensuremath{\alpha}=0.32\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.19\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.07$, in agreement with theoretical predictions within one standard deviation.
