Abstract
Results are presented on single-pion production by the weak neutral current observed in low-energy neutrino reactions in deuterium. Cross sections are given for the three exclusive neutral-current final states $\ensuremath{\nu}p{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, $\ensuremath{\nu}p{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, and $\ensuremath{\nu}n{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ relative to the charged-current final state ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$. The results agree well with models for weak one-pion production which incorporate the Weinberg-Salam structure of the neutral current.
