Abstract
We have measured the $A$ dependence of muon-nucleus scattering at an incident energy of 10.5 GeV and for $0.2<{Q}^{2}<2.4$ (${\mathrm{G}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{V}/\mathit{c})}^{2}$, $1<\ensuremath{\nu}<9$ GeV. We observe shadowing over the entire region of ${Q}^{2}$, in disagreement with previous measurements. Current theoretical models predict shadowing only for ${Q}^{2}\ensuremath{\lesssim}1$ (${\mathrm{G}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{V}/\mathit{c})}^{2}$.
