Abstract
Three charmed-baryon candidates produced in the quasielastic reaction $\ensuremath{\nu}n\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\Lambda}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ were found in an exposure of the Fermilab deuterium-filled 15-ft bubble chamber to a wide-band neutrino beam. We also found that the cross section of the associated-production reaction $\ensuremath{\nu}n\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\Lambda}{K}^{+}$ is (5.5\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.1) \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}40}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$ for ${E}_{\ensuremath{\nu}}>10$ GeV, and is approximately independent of energy. In addition we studied the cross sections of some quasi-two-body associated strange-particle production reactions other than ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\Lambda}{K}^{+}$.
