One-loop corrections to the Higgs sector in minimal supergravity models

Abstract
We study the Higgs spectrum of the minimal supersymmetric standard model in the context of supergravity models with radiative gauge-symmetry breaking, including the leading one-loop corrections. We find that, unlike in more general scenarios, these corrections cannot change the ordering of the Higgsboson masses as predicted by tree-level expressions. Moreover, the upper bound on the mass of the lightest Higgs boson is reduced compared to the general case; however, even in the most restrictive supergravity model the Higgs sector might escape detection at the CERN Large Electron-Positron Collider LEP 200. We also present an expression for the one-loop-corrected charged-Higgs-boson mass, and describe an improved calculation of the bound on the lightest Higgs boson in general global supersymmetry scenarios.
