Abstract
Hadronic decays of the P-wave spin-triplet charmonium states ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}(J=0,1,2)$ are studied using a sample of $\ensuremath{\psi}(2S)$ decays collected by the BES detector operating at the BEPC storage ring. Branching fractions for the decays ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c1}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}+\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{c}.,$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0},$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c2}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0},$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\varphi}\ensuremath{\varphi},$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c2}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\varphi}\ensuremath{\varphi}$ and ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ are measured for the first time, and those for ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}},$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}},$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p\overline{p}$ and ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}3({\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}})$ are measured with improved precision. In addition, we determine the masses of the ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}$ and ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}$ to be ${M}_{{\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}}=3414.1\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.6(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.8(\mathrm{syst}) \mathrm{MeV}$ and ${M}_{{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}}=2975.8\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3.9(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.2(\mathrm{syst}) \mathrm{MeV}.$
