Abstract
We describe several measurements using the decays ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}.$ We find the ratio of partial widths, $\ensuremath{\Gamma}{(D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}})/\ensuremath{\Gamma}{(D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}),$ to be $2.96\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.16\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.15,$ where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. We observe no evidence for direct $\mathrm{CP}$ violation, obtaining ${A}_{\mathrm{CP}}(\mathrm{KK})=(0.0\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.8)%$ and ${A}_{\mathrm{CP}}(\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi})=(1.9\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.8)%.$ In the limit of no $\mathrm{CP}$ violation we measure the mixing parameter ${y}_{\mathrm{CP}}=\ensuremath{-}0.012\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.025\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.014$ by measuring the lifetime difference between ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ or ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and the $\mathrm{CP}$ neutral state, ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}.$ We see no evidence for mixing.
