We report a search for the ${h}_{c}$ meson via the decay chain ${B}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{h}_{c}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$, ${h}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ with ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$ and $p\overline{p}$. No significant signals are observed. We obtain upper limits on the branching fractions for ${B}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\gamma}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ in bins of the ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ invariant mass. The results are based on an analysis of $253\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider.
