Abstract
We report on a search for the exclusive two-body charmless hadronic $B$ meson decays $B\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rho}$, $B\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{K}^{*}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\phi}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\omega}$, and ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{(\ensuremath{'})}$. The results are obtained from a data sample containing $535\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs that were collected at the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. We find no significant signals and report upper limits in the range $(0.5--6.5)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}6}$ for all of the above decays.
