First observation of exclusiveχcJdecays to two charged and two neutral hadrons

Abstract
We study exclusive ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0,1,2}$ decays to four-hadron final states involving two charged and two neutral hadrons: ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, ${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, $p\overline{p}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, ${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\eta}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, and ${K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}{K}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$. The ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c}$ states are produced in radiative decays of $3.08\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $\ensuremath{\psi}(2S)$ resonance decays and observed in the CLEO detector. We also measure the largest substructure contributions to the modes ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ and ${K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}{K}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$.
