Abstract
The Dalitz plot of ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\eta}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay is studied using $(225.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.8)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. With the largest sample of ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ decays to date, the parameters of the Dalitz plot are determined in a generalized and a linear representation. Also, the branching fraction of $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ is determined to be $(4.84\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.03\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.24)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic.
