Abstract

We study the rare $B$ meson decays ${B}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{},0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}J/\ensuremath{\psi}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{},0}$, ${B}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{},0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\phi}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{},0}$, and search for ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\phi}$, using $469\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ events collected at the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)$ resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ asymmetric energy collider. We present new measurements of branching fractions and a study of the $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\phi}$ mass distribution in search of new charmonium-like states. In addition, we search for the decay ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\phi}$ and find no evidence of a signal.
