Abstract
We use $772\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ meson pairs collected at the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector to measure the branching fraction for $\overline{B}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{X}_{s}\ensuremath{\gamma}$. Our measurement uses a sum-of-exclusives approach in which 38 of the hadronic final states with strangeness equal to $+1$, denoted by ${X}_{s}$, are reconstructed. The inclusive branching fraction for ${M}_{{X}_{s}}<2.8\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$, which corresponds to a minimum photon energy of 1.9 GeV, is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(\overline{B}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{X}_{s}\ensuremath{\gamma})=(3.51\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.17\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.33)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic.
