Study of the reactione+e−→π0γwith the SND detector at the VEPP-2M collider

Abstract
The process ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ is studied with the SND detector at the VEPP-2M ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. The ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ cross section is measured in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.60 to 1.38 GeV. The cross section is well described by the vector meson dominance model. From the fit to the cross-section data we determine the branching fractions $B(\ensuremath{\rho}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma})=(4.20\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.52)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, $B(\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma})=(8.88\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.18)%$, and $B(\ensuremath{\phi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma})=(1.367\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.072)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, and the relative phase between the $\ensuremath{\rho}$ and $\ensuremath{\omega}$ amplitudes ${\ensuremath{\varphi}}_{\ensuremath{\rho}}=(\ensuremath{-}12.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}4.5)\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$. Our data on the process ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ are the most accurate to date.
