Abstract
Using $(223.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.4)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{6}$ $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events accumulated with the BESIII detector, we study ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}$ decays to $\ensuremath{\phi}\ensuremath{\phi}$ and $\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\phi}$ final states. The branching fraction of ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\phi}\ensuremath{\phi}$ is measured to be $\mathrm{Br}({\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\phi}\ensuremath{\phi})=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}(2.5\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.{3}_{\ensuremath{-}0.7}^{+0.3}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.6)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is from the uncertainty of $\mathrm{Br}(J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c})$. No significant signal for the double Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka suppressed decay of ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\phi}$ is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction is determined to be $\mathrm{Br}({\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\phi})<2.5\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ at the 90% confidence level.
