Abstract
Control and readout of the EUROGAM data acquisition system is performed over the VMEbus incorporated in D size VXI crates. The authors describe the readout controller and the VME modules which together perform data readout, the formatting of event data into blocks, and the concurrent histogramming of data from individual detector-channels.>
