A software quality assurance procedure to assure a reliable software device

Abstract
A software quality assurance procedure that was developed to address device safety, effectivity, and reliability is discussed. The procedure the software development process into various sequential phases and then establishes criteria for successfully completing each one. These requirements are based on three parameters: first, the environment in which the software is to be used; second, the anticipated use and misuse of the software or device; and, third, the complexity of the software and the device.>
