Optimized remote power feeding for DSLAM applications
2007pp. 467–473
Abstract
This paper proposes a new architecture for DSLAM equipment that is remotely powered over twisted pairs. The end-to-end efficiency of a typical installation is improved from 38% to 48%, with almost 20% reduction in primary power consumption.
