Abstract
Cognitive load theory serves as an important and basic theory that guide multimedia instruction design and software development. In cognitive load theory, individuals is regarded to use cognitive resource, which provided by working memory capacity in fulfilling similar tasks. and thus induce extraneous, intrinsic and germane cognitive load. In this paper, according to the analysis of the three types of cognitive load, the authors put forward an optimal control about cognitive load in the multimedia learning, thereby improve the learners achievements effectively.
