Abstract
The plate-type electrostatic precipitators have been use by industry applications as the preferred method for controlling pollution with dust particles. This article is presenting an experimental analysis of the current-voltage characteristics, dust emissions and powers absorbed by the sources of some three-section electrostatic precipitators from a thermo-electrical power plant. Due to complex phenomena, at industrial electrostatic precipitators the current-voltage characteristics from the sections are permanently modifying, which makes impossible the mathematic modelling. It was not noticed a mathematical connection between the evolution of the dust emissions and powers absorbed by the supply sources.
