Abstract
This paper is intended to describe the data acquisition (DAQ) setup and facilities for the ATLAS 2002 Monitored Drift Tube chamber test beam at CERN H8 area. The muon DAQ system is integrated in the frame of a fully functional ATLAS DAQ prototype covering the complete range from detector readout to data recording. The integration of various subsystems, dataflow, and data recording is achieved in a realistic and operational environment. The robustness of the system is demonstrated with real applications and real users.
