Application of Wavelets and Atomic Functions for Analysis of the Ultrawideband Signals
Abstract
The wavelet analysis for the describing of the ultrawideband signals was applied. New type of the wavelet basis based on the atomic functions and Kravchenko windows was proposed. These wavelets as Kravchenko-Rvachev analytical wavelets as opposed to the being set of Kravchenko-Rvachev wavelets were called. The numerical characteristics of the Kravchenko-Rvachev analytical wavelets were calculated and with ones for other wavelets were compared. Earlier proposed quality functional, which was shown to be useful for the selection of the ultrawideband signal optimal wavelet basis, for the sooner created ultrawideband signal models and the Kravchenko-Rvachev analytical wavelets was calculated. The given results with ones for the other wavelet bases were compared. The Kravchenko-Rvachev analytical wavelets were shown to be effective for the ultrawideband signal describing
