Abstract
Analysis of the John Bradby Blake plant illustrations in the library of the Oak Spring Garden Foundation identifies a total of 138 species belonging to over 100 genera and 62 families. Especially well‐represented are useful plants of all kinds, including a high proportion of plants that are used in Chinese traditional medicine.
