Reactions to redundancy: the influence of the work situation
Industrial Relations Journal1970Vol. 1(2), pp. 7–22
Abstract
What determines a man's attitude to redundancy? Previous assumptions that financial considerations are the most important influence are questioned by this study, which indicates that, in some instances at least, reactions to redundancy are primarily conditioned by the structural characteristics of the immediate work environment.
