PRODUCTION OF Be7 IN THE ATMOSPHERE

Abstract
The concentration of Be 7 in the atmosphere has been determined by measuring the activity associated with dust particles in ground level air. It is calculated that the observed concentration is maintained by a production rate of 2300 atoms Be 7 /cm. 2 /day in northern latitudes.
