Additional Observations on the occurrence of Pipes and Furrows in calcareous and non-calcareous Strata
Quarterly Journal of the Geological Society1854Vol. 10(1-2), pp. 474–474
Abstract
Abstract The author considered that, for the full understanding of the views he has taken on the origin of sand-pipes and furrows in and on the surface of strata, some further remarks were required; and offered these additional observations in support of some positions he has taken in former papers on the subject, and which, from their not having been fully elucidated, appeared to require some explanatory remarks in their defence.
