Abstract
Design and fabrication improvements to InP optical IQ modulators resulted in a reduced Vπ of 1.5V while maintaining 40GHz bandwidth and loss <7.5dB over C-band. Dual polarization QPSK constellations using 3Vpp drive are presented.
