Measurement of Neutral B Decay Branching Fractions to K{sub s}{sup 0}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -} Final States
2004
Abstract
The branching fractions for B{sup 0} --> K{sup 0}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -}, B{sup 0} --> K*{sup +}{pi}{sup -} and B{sup 0} --> D{sup -}(--> K{sub s}{sup 0}{pi}{sup -}){pi}{sup +} decaying to a K{sub s}{sup 0}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -} state have been measured and agree with previous measurements. The direct CP violating parameter A{sub K*{pi}} was measured for the decay B{sup 0} --> K*{sup +}{pi}{sup -} and is in agreement with the CLEO measurement, with no evidence of CP violation with the statistics used. Using larger datasets, one can extract amplitudes and relative phases of the resonant contributions to the Dalitz plot, with the possibility to observe new B-meson decays.
