Family Relations1986Vol. 35(3), pp. 439–439
Abstract
Guidelines for mental health clinicians to use in assessing clients divorce related concerns are proposed. Current empirical information on factors affecting individual and family adjustment after divorce is organized into a practical format for clinical application. ADAP details a comprehensive assessment that will help the clinician to understand the client's divorce related difficulties so appropriate interventions can be targeted.
