Abstract
The analysis results of technological methods for regulating of the width of the deposited layer during powder tape welding are presented. The design of mechanisms for feeding of one or more electrodes, which ensure reliable delivery of the powder tape to the arc combustion zone and the required width of the deposited layer are considered. It is shown that the selection of techniques and modes for wide-layer welding with electrode oscillation should be based on the composition and properties of the powder tape, as well as the technological features of alloy formation on the welded surface, in order to achieve the desired levels of hardening and repair of the parts.
